Prayer Requests

You can submit a prayer request to the Prayer Chain, a group of 4th Day members who pray for concerns raised by the Pilgrimage community. The Chain operates entirely by email, sharing prayer requests each day and praying for those requests as often as possible.

You are invited to participate in the Chain in a couple of ways. First, you are invited to join the Chain and help pray for the concerns that come through. Except for urgent concerns, prayer requests will come to your email inbox each morning. Second, whether or not you decide to join the Chain, you are invited to share your prayer requests.

To Send a Prayer Request

Send an email to Prayer Chain and it will be forwarded to every member of the Prayer Chain community.

To Join the Prayer Chain

Go to the NCPP Online Directory subscriptions page and indicate that you would like to join the Prayer Chain.

Guidelines

Please:

  1. Provide as much information as practical.
  2. Send follow-up status reports.
  3. Share praises and answered prayers, not just requests.
  4. Feel free to share prayer needs related to upcoming Pilgrimage/Cursillo weekends, including team members and participants.
  5. Provide a mailing address and/or email address if you would like letters or cards to be sent.

Please do not use the Prayer Chain to:

  1. Share information that you think the individual would object to.
  2. Distribute general information or serve as a newsletter.
  3. Request financial aid.
  4. Solicit email addresses.
  5. Debate or address political or controversial issues within or outside the church.
